Fitness Center

Fitness is a way of life at The Village at Duxbury. More residents participate in our mind and body fitness program than any other activity at The Village.

Our Fitness Center features equipment designed to reduce the impact on joints and is staffed by certified personal trainers who tailor individualized strength training programs for each resident. With state-of-the-art exercise facilities, an 18’ x 38’ heated indoor pool, and an aerobics room, our Fitness Center offers the right environment for maintaining and improving personal health.

8:00 – 9:00AM            Low Impact Aerobics

9:05 – 9:35AM            Seated Chair Exercises

10:00 – 10:45AM        Water Aerobics
Improve flexibility, strength, balance and aerobic capacity in the pool

11:30AM – 12:15PM   Balance Class
Balance drills and general conditioning to aid in fall prevention

1:45 – 2:15PM             Seated Chair Exercise
Improve flexibility, strength and aerobic capacity from a seated position

2:30 – 3:00PM             Basketball Practice
Improve coordination while building overall body strength
