Honoring Veterans of the Second World War and Celebrating Service

The Village at Duxbury recently honored individuals who served in the United States Armed Forces during World War II with a Salute to Veterans and a luncheon. Veterans shared their stories of service with other residents of the senior living community.


Marine veteran Joyce Levinson, a Village at Duxbury Resident, was proud to be part of the Salute to Veterans.


Event emcee Grace Benzaquin introduced the speakers for the Salute.  


Director of Building Services for The Village at Duxbury, Jim Welch, thanks Village at Duxbury resident Web Ray, for his service in the U. S. Marines.


Fred and Betsy Stevens, residents of The Village at Duxbury, attended the Salute to Veterans. Fred served in the United States Army for 21 years. The Stevens have been married for 63 years.
