Three times a week, residents of The Village at Duxbury can enjoy a water aerobics class in the community’s pool and reap all the health benefits. The class is taught by certified personal trainer Kerin Mooney. Residents who meet physical requirements can participate. Strict safety rules are always followed.
Mooney’s classes emphasize increasing muscle strength, balance and improving posture. Better sleep and an enhanced sense of well-being are two common benefits. Easy on stiff joints and sore muscles, water aerobics is a social, fun way to improve endurance, flexibility and mobility.
