Continuum of Care
The Village at Duxbury is pleased to offer an on-campus continuum of care. Residents may choose from an attractive selection of Apartment and Garden Homes and later on, if their needs change, they have the ability to easily transition to an Assisted Living Apartment at Allerton House at The Village at Duxbury. In assisted living, residents receive the additional help or personal care they may need while enjoying social activities and amenities to maintain an independent lifestyle.
Residents of The Village at Duxbury also benefit from Welch Healthcare and Retirement Group’s continuum of care. This continuum offers the added convenience and reassurance of coordinated access to an array of senior services and living options. As a resident’s needs or health status change, so too will the services required to maintain and enhance his or her independence and quality of life.
For residents who may require short-term rehabilitation or long-term skilled nursing after a hospital stay, they can receive the needed care and attention at Bay Path Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, which is conveniently located on the property adjacent to The Village at Duxbury. Alternatively, they can receive services at home through Welch Home Care. For seniors who develop memory-related issues there is access to Duxbury House Alzheimer’s Care Center, also located adjacent to The Village at Duxbury.
The Welch Group’s off-campus healthcare and housing options are located in communities throughout the South Shore.
