Cinco de Mayo Celebration

In the United States, Cinco de Mayo (May 5) has come to represent the celebration of Mexican-American culture. In appreciation of this culture, residents of The Village at Duxbury, searched their closets and homes for culturally significant items, such as clothing and maracas and joined one another for a lighthearted evening celebration. Chef Nancy Doran prepared enticing Mexican-American cuisine.

The Cinco de Mayo Celebration at The Village was a big hit. Friends who gathered to celebrate the event, included (L to R): Joan Pisarra, Janis Bigelow, Dotsie Davis and Lynda Dickerson.
